Does college depress you?

Postby Gamadid. » Wed Aug 03, 2005 11:35 am

It does depress me. I am actually paying my fees today before they cancell the online registration I made in the spring and I am not looking forward to classes. Two or three semesters left for graduation but I have had enough of coming to school Laughing

Do you share the same experience? I do hate school.

Oh yes, Hi to everyone.

Bro, how are you? Don't get me wrong, I do love education and I am often engrossed in books and websites, read materials that variate in subjects. I Just find coming to school very difficult lately. My mind is pre-occupied with something else but I have to complete my degrees. I will get two degrees when I graduate inshallah simultaneously. And my education is paid for too, so I have no reason to not school. But I hoped classes wouldn't start so soon. I am not ready for them just yet.

Gama,

You need to focus and stop flirting with that Xaliimo, she is just an interruption to your focus.

On a serious note, just look beyond the classes and set a goal for yourself, something to strive for, something motivational and encouraging. Good luck

Bro luggooyo loool@that xaliimo, saxib, can you do something about the xaliimo? she completely owns my soul and mind and because of her, I am afraid I won't get that "A" grade? Laughing Laughing

Aside from the kaftan, saxib, waa runtaa, I should focus on my studies. The feeling is evanscent and will go away soon. I have been coming to school for years so may be I want to be done with it very soon. Coming from a place that offered no opportunity of education and advancement, I am aware I can't lay my chance today to waste only to regrett later. Thanks for the advice Smile

SCREW.

I don't pay for my education now, my work does. I used to pay for it but not anymore. Thank god for that.

gamadid, you're a lucky man. take advantage of it sxb. the tuition is very high at this school i attend, after financial aid and everything, you'll still need to take a loan. i really dont care though, i dont have much interest in the United States after college, i'm sick of this place, most likely i'd end up somewhere else.

Screw, You are not alone in that feeling of calling this place quits bro. But as you already seem to know, it is better to get out with good education than spend years in the west and not get educated. Btw, you mentioned Xamar, are you from there? And can you go back to it?

Biko.

How about racial profiling? One of the bomber wanna-be was somali so my assumption is that you guys will be treated differently for a while.

uhm yeah too many things going around. I see education as succes but everything is going fast. I wouldn't go somalia though untill i have atleast a respectable budget.

When you concentrate on your education lot of things pop up Sad . You deal with them and then you have an exam all of a sudden.
Shocked Mad
