I don't see why not, especially Reer Xamar.

They are not ethnic Somalis. I think he was more referring those from the major tribes

Well there's several ways, your clan could "become" part of a bigger clan, or you could have what genealogists call a "non-parental event" in your ancestry, which is a fancy word for incorrect paternity.

If the whole branch of your clan is J1, then it's probably the former, and if it's just your branch of that clan, it's probably the latter.

Yeah there's a contact link on their ysearch.org profiles:
http://www.ysearch.org/search_view.asp? ... =GPWCC&p=0#
http://www.ysearch.org/search_view.asp? ... =8MH8T&p=0

It pops up a message box where you can send them a message.

WTF,

Italian who is E1b1b1a1b how is that possible?

What do the numbers on the side mean? If they are the same, does it mean same ancestry

E1b1b1a1b is 8,500 years old, plenty of time for some African fellow to end up in Sicily somehow.
Sicily was once conquered by the Caliphate, perhaps some soldier originally from Sudan or southern Egypt decided to settle there.

James Dahl,

I had my results a while back too. The most interesting thing is that I'm the most closely related in that bunch to Hyperactive. Our markers are the exact same, while the Hartis are a little more different from me. I'm Majerten btw.
