In my humble opinion I would say that a person is either for life or against it.
A person may be against life(not life against him/her) when they choose to live by other than the qur'an and the sunnah of the beloved prophet S.C.W.

Those who lead their lives according to the way Allah has commanded, have chosen the good life of the world and that of the hereafter.
