Lets be real, Somalia's biggest cities were founded by Arabs inparticular Omanis, Marka, Mogadishu, Baraawe, Kismaayo, etc. To be honest Somalis for the most part were Reer Baadiye around that time.

This denial of Somali achievement is meant to both belittle and rewrite history in the attempt of creating or initiating an entirely bogus and false substitution of reality in which certain myths and characters are elevated and exaggerated while at the same time denying and erasing the real visible contributions made by Somalis who did not hail from certain groups.

Thankfully, reality is never is erased and history can never be denied.
