I'd want to stay home too but after my kid reaches 5 and is in kindergarden,
lool
thats a very long time.
One year old then the child can stay at ayeeyo, nanny or kindergarden while the mother is at work

In the USA kids hit Kindergarten when they're 5. Nah, I'm willing to work up until I have my kid. After that, I'm staying home. Hooyo can babysit whenever but I'd rather be home and be a mother instead of dropping my child off at daycare.

Now we are in agreement
I really don't care before kids if She works, but with a fam I wouldn't be comfortable with My Wife working, and having a babysitter and stuff like that

definetly yes!
there is a huge gap between educated and non educated Somali guys, so unless you want to settle for a low life with no future, go for the educated ones. no less than a master - and Quranic Degree.
never marry a guy who doesnt know the Diin girls.

Its a very personal choice and depends on a person's level of education, background, ambitions, values and personal achievement. Therefore, there's no one particular universal answer to this question. I personally wouldn't be able to marry a woman who didn't hold some sort of a baccalaureate degree, post-bac would be preferable. Its no longer seen as an accomplishment to finish college, its a necessity. Education has become synonimous with success and personal gratification. Even entry level positions require some sort of a degree. Street smarts don't mean shit if they aren't getting your bank account richer.

Naah inshallah my future husband doesn't have to have a degree as long as he is providing for his family in the halaal way. As long as he has knowledge of the deen and or either wants to be able to learn the deen with me.
