Spain were always going to win that game. Not team can outdo them in posession football and no team can fight them toe-to-toe. You need to be much more experienced than this German team to beat Spain. Holland may do it but I truly doubt it. That game is going to be more of the same. Spain keeping the ball and Holland defending for their lives.

The Game went just as I expected. Germany are a good team, but they have a certain over-reliance on the counter attack. SOmedays, especially against the likes of spain- who will deny your midfielders posession with their tight-nit passing and effective closing down, you need a plan b. Germany don't have a plan b. As for Spain, i still think there is more to come from them, sometimes they are not direct enough. Mind you, this shows how the standard in international quality has dropped. Spain are labouring to the world cup trophy without any real tests.

Spain were tested in every game they played, GU. They only failed once and, luckily, it wasn't an important one. It's only the way they fully control these games and then (understandbly) fail to score spectacular goals that makes them look like they could do better. The only improvement they can really make is in Torres doing what he does best (which he didn't, yet). Otherwise, Spain have been playing at full capacity from day one.

The worst thing I see in Spain is that they don't score goals and, in case of a counter-attack, they're weak and in high risks. If they were more offensive in the front line, with Torres moving faster, they would be absolutely perfect, but Torres was harmed and he's not now at 100%. That's the reason Spain was so effective yesterday. If Torres recovers, then the team will be really great. I think the match on Sunday will be clearly won by La Roja.

Pero se supone que La Roja son los toros españoles, mientras que los demonios son La Naranja Mecánica ¿no? No soy muy aficionado al fútbol, pero el partido de ayer me pareció muy bueno. Lo mío es la Fórmula 1 y el punk rock. Creo que si los españoles juegan con Holanda como ayer jugaron contra Alemania y tienen algo más de decisión en el ataque, se llevan la Copa del Mundo a casa.
