It is a personal thing. For some it is dead; for the majority, it is alive. Make up your mind whether you see it dead or not. It is a personal decision. Just stop convincing people to start hating who they are. That is my brotherly advice

The imagined homogeneity of Somalis often creates distortions. There have always been attempts to call for the uniformity insofar as Somali nationalism, language and culture is concerned. Somalis are diverse people and as such the constants calls for uniformity and rigidity of Somaliness is a dangerous one, which sidelines many people. Often, resulting in discrimination against those who are seen as different who depart from the conventional and pre-conceived social norms and standards of Somaliness or who possess a different idea of what represents Somaliness.

Diversity

To those whose believe in Somalinimo as a representation of their Nationalism such believes have given rise to the likes of Al-shabab who are anti-nationalism. Somalinimo is one of the components that has aided the infiltration of the Koonfur region.

Accept the reality of Somalinimo and perhabs Koonfur will excell as have P.land and S.land.
