Starvation does not equate produce production shortage nor the heavy drought Central Sanaag and Eastern Sanaag has faced.

When has anyone heard of a starving Maakhiri, there are pictures of Southern Zoomlis today that are skin and bones. Since they sit on farms what happen. Mooryans :|
According to this map Southern Somalis are doing average, but Sanaagians are in a humanaitarian crises

The irony is that we are attempting to build LQ port, and a few educational facilities throughout Maakhir, yet we are starving on Baasto, Suugo, Moos and Fanta.

Our food aid is dependent on shipments from Bosaaso and our livestock. Google Sanaag and drought, no doubt we are facing climate change and years of drought.

We are not to far from Waaqoyi on the map, are they starving too

I could google recent pictures of starving children from Southern Somalia.

WFP infact is responsible for stavation, each time when the harvest season is near they start distributing food 'aid' then when the farmers cut back on planting the next seasonn due to a prediction that WFP might distribute the food. WFP would actualy not distribute and would wait till it reaches an alarming rate whereby they can document the plight and seek donations from abroad.
seems more of a psycho drama.

In ethiopia this industry actualy gives the food aid directly to the same govt that starves it people and in return, the ethiopian govt will feed its soilders and scatter few to its sympathisers.

Guys, the UN Somali Office produces this map to continue milking donor money from the rest of the world. The fact of the matter is the Gu rainy season was very good in Somalia and there is no food security in Somalia. The Al-Shabaab held territories in the South have food self sufficiency for the remainder of the year and most of helpless have a support system in the South under Al-Shabaab. According to the Somalis I met who were from Beledweyne, Bay, Bakool, and Lower Shabelle, Al-Shabaab has a social services department whose sole job is to help the poor in each city. This is a decentralized department where region can request help if they don't have enough food, and the administration of each city is responsible the poor and helpless poor in each city.

I just want to conclude by saying don't buy any UN reports from Somalia. It is all bogus and they never help the poor in Somalia. As a matter fact, they are at war with the voiceless and defenseless farmers in Somalia and before Al-Shabaan took over the South, they used to bring the food during the harvest season.
