Who’s more pathetic? Oromos or Somalis

This is a tough question, wallahi. Both of these groups are controlled by Tigrays who are much smaller than them population wise. They are being outplayed, outwitted by the TPLF as a whole.

Somalis own more land, yet they haven’t done anything worthwhile with it. Somalis are at least putting up a fight against TPLF in Ethiopia. They also control Djibouti. However, they are plagued by tribalism, terrorism and piracy. Somalia is one if not the worst country in the world.

Oromos have been controlled since the beginning. They were forced into Ethiopia by Amhara kings. There language was banned at once. Then they were controlled by two successive groups, which marginalized them. They still are being routinely abused in Ethiopia, while they are majority. They have always been the majority yet never had power and mostly likely won’t have it for a while.

Realistically, these two groups should be dominating Horn of Africa politics, yet it's the Semitic highlanders who are and always have,

Oromos by far. Somalis are pretty low themselves but Oromos are pretty much total slaves to the Amxaaro/Tigray. They will fiercely defend them, and they spend all their efforts and energies doing the bidding for Amxaaro/Tigray and attacking Somalis in ONLF/Liibaan region while Amxaaro/Tigray split leadership amongst themselves. I met a few of them while the Amxaaro were in Mogadishu and they were defending Zenawi, and these guys were supposedly "Wadaado".

Somalis being low as hell, at least have a Country as You said (Djibouti) and a homeland (Somalia) even though it is wrecked.

I think, currently Oromos r in more pathetic state: for being a people of this magnitude without state!
But the thing is Somalis had it and destroyed it !

In my opinion the problem of these two people lies deep in their history.

One should analyze why Somalis and Oromos didnt form in the past their respective unified states ?
How can no Somali tribe tried to unify the Somali peninsula?( they were alone and there had no external enemy)
Why oromos didnt overrun Abyssinia in the 17th century, or form their own state? they were alone and powerful.

A small number of Somalis do it in the west, especially insecure young girls, but the majority of Somalis would never deny their identity. They would probably claim to be a skinny even though there is nothing special about it.

Do you know the history of the Oromos? its more 150 yrs of occupation supported by the west that caused this and still some have retained their oromo heritage.

Dude these were Oromos not Ethiopians I met, welibo wadaad, fresh from Ethiopia ones who were defending meles zenawi being in Somalia.
