Dooro is Dooro Regardless

Many Cagdheers question my reasoning of not liking Dooro. But I hope they stop reading one-sided stories and being fooled into believing the Daarood myth. Here is an elderly dude talking about Ogadenia, for some reason something tells me he is either Ilka-Yar or Dhabayac or other smaller Dooros. He says that Ogaden clan is about 40% of Ogadenia populace. In the last democratic elections in Ethiopia ONLF won 85% of the votes and remember the O stands for Ogaden. Now the emperor use a certain tactic called divide and conquer by naming one clan as the head over the others. Knowingly this will create animosity between the haves and the haves-not and this is exactly why the region is right now...

2- ONLF won 85% of the votes??? yeah right if you acknowledge that these votes happen in their stronghold cuz we all know that ONLF can't even dare adventure themselves in certain area of kilinka shanaad

3-yes it is what it is that ogaden represent are not the majoity (less than 40%)in that region and thats why to most somalis its called somaligalbeed while ogaden called ogadenia (a name given to the same government that they're fighting with).

4-One thing is for sure is that Somaligalbeed will most likely remain the same as longer a minority close their eyes isntead seek help from the majority (the remaining somali clans in that region)

I agree with your fourth point lali and that is why I really do not care about the plight of this tribe ,eventhough @ times my emotions tell me otherwise . here you are preaching Ogadens about unity and coperating with other Somalis in Ogadenia, while at the same time advocating for Somaliland's isolations from Somalis and secession. even if Ogadens get independency, they want to join the rest of Somalia as one country, not be an independent country.

1. Ogaden was a name given by the British.The Ethiopians didnt acknowledge anything Somali, the somalis were put under different Ethiopian regions like Hararge and Bale.It would do you good to do some research than blind spasm motivated by your clanish zeal.

The Ogaden is the recognised name for this region.Live with it.ONLF operates in the 9 Gobols from Shinile to Libaan? the ONLF even crosses to Oromo regions and conducts operations.

SomaliGalbeed was chosen by patriots of this region from the same clan(Ogaden) you mention and still they did the fighting only for it to be ruined by SNA.After this they again chose to remove this alien name and go back to roots and localise the conflict from irredenism to Indeginous.This has worked well.Even duringthe 77 Conflict the region was still being referred to as the Ogaden by the Interntional Community.
