heh! you mean Somaliland! Is there a website that has a map about the oil wells in Somalia?
The thing is, Somalia is located below Saudi Arabia, and If Somalia starts opening oil wells, the Saudi wells will go dry, that is why you never see the Saudi king talking about Somali problems.

Nobody is talking about Somaliland in here, we talking about Isbaheysi mosque, which is located in Mogadishu not Somaliland.heh! you mean Somaliland! Is there a website that has a map about the oil wells in Somalia?

That is not what your original quote said. Perhaps you should have made yourself clear!Nobody is talking about Somaliland in here, we talking about Isbaheysi mosque, which is located in Mogadishu not Somaliland.heh! you mean Somaliland! Is there a website that has a map about the oil wells in Somalia?

I am a geologist and what ur saying about oil dripping down to Somalia is impossible and intact ludicrous.
The oil wells dat were drilled in da 80's were all dry (no oil or gas in dem). However there were traces of gas and usually were u find gas there will be oil.
Large amounts of gas were found in Ogaden, so Somalia must have some oil and gas, it just depends on how much.
American Association of Petroleum Geologists do have some of this info. I think you need to be a member in order to find that information or be an active student in one of the universities that has a geologic department. Keep in mind most of the oil and other mineral explorations that were conducted in Somalia are actually secretly guided by the companies who did the explorations. So if you are interestred in, it will be a huge effort on your part but you can get some of the public information from these academic institutions. Is there a website that has a map about the oil wells in Somalia?
