I didn't get to go to Upper Egypt where there is a lot of reer baadiye folk (I saw plenty in Sinai but they were chill) but in Upper Egypt I heard they have weapons (from Sudan and Somalia lol) and they have skirmishes between clans sometimes but the government is pretty strong in their control.

This is what one of my Masri homies who has contacts in the government told me.
