Let me tell you guys a trick of satan. When you go late to work, and your boss is angrily at you because you are late and a lot of people work in your office what do you do? You avoid eye-contact and sneak into your little corner right because you cant face him?. Or remember back in School when you had bad report card and you go home to you family you would sneak in to the house and kinda go and pass out and sleep ..what happened at school and you’ll be like nothing...When you disappoint someone, you avoid contact with them and it's natural. In this case when we do something shameful and wrong ourselves who have we disappointed? Allah right,,,you disappointed Allah so naturally the Satan takes advantage of this and comes to you and says you going to pray now you hypocrite, you do the shameful things this and that and now you want to do Ebadah/worship? you are such a two face person he wispers. So you think to yourself yeah I shouldn’t go and pray I am such a two faced. Satan takes advantages of that and distances you from Allah and we embarrassed to go before Allah.
But true believer, he/she does something wrong and immediately remembers Allah and asks Allah to forgive their sins, that you were not proud of which humiliates you. And who else would forgive your sins than Allah? Where else would you go for forgiveness? Who knows the things you or I have done wrong other than Allah? There are alot in our closet that Allah haven’t exposed and only Allah knows and you have to find the time to ask forgiveness and thats the true attributes of people mentioned to go into the Jannah/Heaven.
And the last thing I want to share is, one time I went to the shopping centre with my family and there was this other mum with a child yelling at her child and even got physical and smacked the child,,but do you know where did the child went after getting yelled and hit, he still hold onto his mother, he wasn’t letting it go, because everywhere surrounding there was these ugly and gigantic strangers who he doesn’t want to deal with them. So even if she is angry, disappointed and upset, his all world, shelter and protection where else would he get? No where else than his mother right. So this made me think when you and I sin, when you and I disobey Allah, where are we going to go? Where else is there to go? Who else should we turn to? We don’t have anywhere else to turn, so if we even disappoint Allah and fall short of the standard he set for us? Truth of the matter is a the true believer never loses hope in Allah, so do not lose hope in Allah and do not let Satan take advantage of your short-comings, always remember to turn to Allah.
