Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf is the imam behind the noble idea of building the NYC moque/center in NYC near Ground Zero. Soledad almost cried and so did the sheikh, but i think this will fall on a deaf ears. He basically said eliminating the idea of the center will feed into the extremist propaganda and giving it up will send the wrong signal. he said that he is more worried about the muslim radicals reaction than the american extremist/right that have used this whole idea as an election piece. Soledad argued that the center is almost sacred ground due to the terrorist attacks, which the sheikh dismissed vehemently. she also peddled the idea of the 71% against the center and pointed that they are not extremist.

the sheikh Feisal is very confident that the center will be built. the political ramifications and impacts are being discussed by anderson cooper. this was an exclusive interview, the first time the sheikh broke his silence since the Fox/Right attacks. Soledad will receive the Peabody Award for this interview and maybe a promotion within CNN

I wonder what the future holds for Muslims in America if even an FBI agent can't pass the smell test.
