telefishan = dhalo
mutuleel = marmar
gob = xaamur

you can say dabaqa kowaad, dabaqa labaad etc but fooq means tall a tall building, Apartment complex etc like fooqa dahabshiil

sadeboi, I don't speak arabic so I don't know but I know that word is indeed an amharic word and it means the same thing in amharic.

goljano, everyone I know calls any high-rise building a dabaq. I understand what you mean about dabaqa koowaad and labaad and shit though. I guess it can mean two things and its meaning depends on in what context you use it in.

NO wonder your mom didn't understand me when I told we slept on furaash in ethiopia, she was like sariir I was like noo furaash, and also I was like gabdha they wear shiid she was like huh dirac and I was like noo shiiid.

Also I guess I picked it up from my mom but I don't say joorari but joodhari or joodari don't know exact spelling
