Firaash and these things don't make me crack up about reer Waqooyi. Masquerading pidgin English as Somali like hudheel (hotel) and toweel (towel) make me crack up. :lol:

Voltage I remember when you posted about how you cannot understand how reer waqooyi came up with their version of indian words like roti into rodhi, and then the other day I heard an Indian guy say he wanted some rodhi and I started laughing :lol:

dooro is the one that always makes me laugh :D :D :D . my ree wuqoyi adeer visited us in xamar. it was my first time of hearing reer wuqoyi accent.. whenever we say or talk about dooro he used to tell us naa uuuf xishood. i loved the word dooro to just make him mad

lol we say firash in my house, never knew it was a waqooyi term, I assumed "Jodhari" was their word.

yaanyo = Tamaandho
Malay = Kaluun
Mugdi = Madow
Darbi = Gidaar
I understand and use all those words equally. More words and their translation:

Yaanyur = Bisad (cat)
Beed = Ukun (egg)

never heard of beed....

I swear I laugh when I hear some stuff they say. I told my little brother get the small joorari, ku laha what the hell is that, I said get the small little bed, he was like furaash maad dahdid :lol: :lol: :lol: WTF is furaash?

You mean joodari right? it means mattres. Firaash means the cover.

You mean joodari right? it means mattres. Firaash means the cover.
