and it has a well established military tradition which is unique in muslim world

You need to come up more if you want to claim "No Muslim country has meaningful Military Industry, for simple reason they do not have the technology! Who will buy a tank made by pakis???". Sir, both Indonesia and Malaysia have their own technology and in the Indonesia case, they even build aero planes. It was even on CNN in 1996 when they built the 1st passenger aircraft. In the case of Pakistan, they built tanks that are very well suited to the environments their forces are operating and have created ballistic missiles with nuclear warheads. OK go ahead and tell me that is not technology.

Many of the Muslim countries also have their own self reliance policies and Iran was lately showing great technological progress in terms of building fighter jets, submarines, surface-to-air missiles, and also long range ballistic missiles.
