I've lived there for five years, before I moved to the United States back in 2005. We had girls flying to Malaysia to get married to a guy. 4 of my friends got married to girls out of Malaysia, from UK, Dubai, Canada and Australia.

in parties / wedding I only go all womens party
then U can dance and have fun ... i feels better and halaal
if I go to mixed ones ( never happens) , I have to wear my hijab and sit somewhere ( cant have fun when men are around )
