A Muslim woman shouldnt marry a second time if she gets divorced, for the sake of her children. but if she does, her ex-husband has the right to take their children. so divorced women should put their chidlren first.
Lol says who?

I don't know how people come up with this stuff...no wonder people think Islam oppresses women.

explain to us your logic surrender, cuz now you sound like an idiot, I have always been given the impression for the sake of her children it is good for a single mother to get married, and that it is a social tragedy to have single mothers and kids being raised without a father. Plus in your little scenerio there is nothing wrong from the guy marrying again. sounds fair?

Surrender,

Abaayo, if the EX takes back his kids when the divorced wife marries another man, he will take the kids to a step-mom :!: Which one in your opinion is worse, step-dad or step-mom? Even though Allaah SWT differs people and that all step-moms are not monsters as they are portrayed yet I believe kids are better off with their moms

Shes baiscally saying if your afraid your ex is going to take back the kids, then don't remarry.

Surrender you should know better then to think islam is black and white, abayoo be careful about what you say because you can do serious damage to the deen and make it look backward and primitive when it really isn't. Islam applied correctly is like any modern court system that takes different factors into account and does what is in the "best interest" of the kids. Also, Islam as a social system is very much against single families, and a lack of father or mother, and it very much encourages people to remarry that is why it has allowed divorce even though in such religious systems like early Christianity it was against their religion, why did king henry vii break away from the catholic church.

Also, to those who have step fathers or mothers, you have to acknowledge that your parents are real human beings that have emotions and needs just like everyone else, and that they too deserve a companion even though their first marriage didn't work. So for that you should be happy with your parents decisions and make it easier on them. Of course there can always be more to the story of why your not happy with them etc etc. And such circumstances use your best judgment. But just give people chances and if you know they deserve it there is no shame in accepting them.
