Most Taliban fighters weren't even alive during the Soviet occupation of Afghanistan. Hamas is much better skilled and equipped than the Taliban, but Hamas don't have the balls to fight Israel. Hamas think Israel is above them but the Taliban believes they are above NATO. Hamas had 25,000 full-time fighters, same as the Taliban or more, they have more guns too, and more money, but they don't fight at all. Taliban doesn't even have uniforms and they lack vehicles but their determination and ambition shakes NATO to its bones. Hamas has no determination to fight. That's all there is to it, its a well known fact.

Not even close, Taliban by far. Its a bad comparison anyway. Hezbollah is a small guerrilla force in Lebanon, Taliban are a superpower in Central and South Asia. Hezbollah can only handle Israel enough to stay alive, meanwhile Taliban is expanding its borders in Afghanistan and against nuclear-armed Pakistan despite the largest NATO presence in the world. These guys are on the verge of defeating NATO in an open war, and you're comparing them to a small guerrilla force? You can't compare a well-armed police force like Hezbollah to a formidable army like the Taliban.

Wallahi I think Hezbollah is being underestimated, they are heavily funded by Iran and Syria and most of their men are experienced since the 2006 Lebanon v Israel war. Hezbollah is not a hit run like Taliban but can attack head on like a conventional army.

monk yu are comparing apples and oranges.
The strategic situation in Palestine is entirley different from afghanistan .
The Taliban is fighting a geurilla war, in a guerilla war you fight the enemies weaknesses not thier strenghts and you need to trade land and time for enemy casualties.

The paestinians have no place to retreat, any cnflict becmes a conventional war, in a very confined space.
Basically its like having a knife fight in a small alley with armour wearing hulks that wield swords and outnumber you 5 to 1 and all you have is a puny knife..
