I am going to take the oath of Citizenship in October. I was thinking whether I will become African American or Somalian American. The problem is, There is no such thing as Somalian american In the American society classification. Either you are a caucasian, Native, African american, hespanic or Asian American.


What do you guys think I should call myself?

InshAllah I have a feeling that after the census is done N recorded...that there will be a "Somali (Not SomaliAN!!) American" option in job applications, school applications, and other stuff
