Nah. I used sun lotion maybe once and that was the day I visited the Pyramids.

Even when I was in the Sahara, didn't use it or need it. But man, I was dark, but I'm getting light again.

family always say to me, oh you used to be such a cute child, what happened to your hair and skin.

looking back at my childhood photos i always was a couple of shades lighter,
and my hair used to be timo jilic like an indian...

today i am as dark as wesley snipes, and my hair has become more coarse but still wavy..

Its the environment guys, very simple, if i used sun lotion and took care of my hair i could look like my childood days...

im as dark as a somali can get, but then again i live in emarat with its 50+ degree heat.

It has nothing to due with evolution as you put, it is the environment. Somalia is one of the hottest places in the world, and the equator runs through the southern portion of Somalia. Go to Somalia for like 6 months and I will guarantee you, you will be 9 shades darker, I know I was.

somalis and their pseudo-theories

some somali idiot comes to a conclusion, asks a Q why it's so, other somali idiots offer theories explaining as to why it's so. smh.

Guys, I don't think the sun has much to do with it. Somalis back in the 70s lived in the same heat as today and they looked MUCH different. They had brown-reddish skin as opposed to the modern-day Somalis' blue-black leather skin. My parents' skin color always looked the same, even in older pictures. I think its the diet and lifestyle---I think trauma and hardship turns people dark. :|
