Year and a half and still in Mogadishu and Dhuusamareeb

This war in Somalia is not allowed to stop and is not allowed to go beyond Dhuusamareeb and Mogadishu. For year and half, about few miles in the vacinity of these two cities are changing hands and yet we have lost thousands of people, wounded tens of thousands, and perhabs at least 100,000 people displaced.
There are no new weapons introduced. It is the same cold war era weapons. Not even RPG-29 and RPG-232 that could bust the mercenary tanks.
The question is when we are going to use our brains if we have any to begin with? The death, wounded, and endless exodus of our people somehow have no impact on us. It is business as ussual. How come there is no third group mediating this stalemate?
