Man, some of these Arabs and Turks are lost from the right path.

No, they're not reciting the Quran like Songs, as you may think. I don't know if you're aware of this, but there are actually about Seven styles or ways of Quran recitation. And I think the Style they're using in this Video is known as, "Mujawwad". Not sure though, I could be wrong on this. Consult with Sheikh Muhammed Siddiq Al-Minshawi--RA-- about this Type of Quranic recitation.

Hey, I'm not against the style he is reciting it, I know that style of Quran reading is called Mujawad.

What I'm against is his hand and face gestures, like he is doing a song, and I don't understand is why a guy with a suit and tie, with shaved beard in front of TV audience with a little girl, sitting so close to her and touching her sometimes, and why people instead of listening with respect, they clapping and shouting and laughing.
and look at the audience at the end of the first video, non of the women are wearing hijab, they all clapping their hands, with their long hair and tight pants, its like an Oprah show, not a Quran listening audience.


This is the Mujawad that is permissible,
a man reading with Qushuuc and no exageratted hand gestures and Audience saying "allah" instead of clapping.

I wouldn't have a problem with it if It didn't sound so downright ugly. The Koran isn't meant to be used as song lyrics by wannabe singers.

I think they are a father and his daughter, that is what one of the commentators wrote below the second clip in arabic!

Obviously what he is doing is inappropriate, lakiin Quran should be recited in a rhythmic tone. Allah swt said in Surah Muzzamil... Awzid Caalayh Wa Rattil Quraana tartiila.

unfortunatly you all have been brainwashed by saudi wahaabis and their way of reciting the quran, actually the turk and egyptian way of reciting is the original and right way of reciting the quran.
its SAUDI wahaabi which become lately popular becouse of money and power of wahaabis to spread their view of islam cross over the world.
