"In regards to Dawud ibn Ismail ibn Ibrahim ibn Abdu Samad al Jabarti al 'Aqeeli for he left from Zabid (Yemen) to the land of Zeila (Awdal) and was present in the land of Majertenia and he married there and lived there until he died and his progeny are the biggest Arab tribe in the land of Somalia. And they are regarded as: "The Tribe of Darod" and that is a word prefixed from "Dawud" whose lineage goes to their great grandfather Dawud ibn Ismail al jabarti al 'Aqeeli".

I translated it word for word. But if you ask me its propaganda

Dude Darood, isaaq and hawiye all didn't exist. If you think you're of iraqi or whatever descent go ahead and have your y-chromosome checked. Y-chromosomes are inherited from your father and your father will also inherit his from your grandfather and so on so. In a way you could call it your "tribal line". I can guarantee you that you'll be disappointed though

If I recall majertin is the family name of the woman who married Mohamed Harti, i think. So, in that case, the name majertin could have a historical background we might not be aware of.
