is true, CW. Somalidu majecla inay bartaan Social Science subjects because they see no importance. haday maqlaan Social Science baad baranaysaa, way kugu qoslayaan, 'bal maxaad kufali waxaas' bay yiraahdaan ayagoo kugu qoslaya.
but they dont realise how important SC is. the way we act can change if we think differently. hada Somalidu caqligoodu waa khalaas. ka baadiyaha jooga, ka Phdga haysta, iyo ka Officeka fadhiya isku si bay ufakaraan. whats the point of education if it cant change our thinking, for the better.

i wish they taught more Social Science subjects. is the way forward, better thinking. what's the point if everybody studies, medicine and Maths, have Phds in English and Arabic, but still think the same as the next warlord, have a closed minded opinion about everything. the only way forward is for our thinking to change, and thats through studying social sceince subjects.

i really want to go and teach in one of these universities, and hopefully introduce variety of subjects to them. :D
:som:
There are a few teaching positions at Hargesia University. Also send speculative emails to different universities and you would be able to find something.

agreed they should teach them social subjects and how 2 solve conflicts wallah...inshallah one day i will teach in somalia
At Hargeisa University there is a degree available in Peace and Conflict resolutions. A new building is being currently constructed called the violence observatory centre. This will be like a policy institute undertaking research on conflict resolutions.

Also at the university of Hargeisa there are already the departments of Law, economics and business. There will be a new department of social sciences next year - this will including the study of political science.

Gaajo, saxib, hope all is well. There are many opportunities to teach here. The programme usually requires at least two semesters commitment. Teaching has its own unique methods, it might not even necessarily come down to qualifications! :D
