Sure there are ministers in Ethiopia who are somali and deputy ministers and the kilinka shanaad administration is run by somalis them selfs with their own cabinet i mean i dont think one oppressor is better then the other for sure Ethiopia is oppressing the somali people in that region , the only thing is the NFD people gave up and just accepted while the people in the somali region in Ethiopia are still fighting and did not gave up the struggle to have an independent country run by somalis and not tigrays..

Those ministers are puppets and cannot say or do anything without TPLF approval. The state regional government of the Somali region answers to the Tigray People Liberation Front.

They are like uncle Toms who work for the master. This is a tactic always used by the oppressors; they claim no abuse or oppression occurs since one of you people is working within the government. This is a ploy used throughout the centuries by corrupted governments.

How can you accept rule of a government which uses collective punishment on a civilian population and has a total media blockade on the region. Just read HRW reports on the Ogaden. Kenya doesn't have these reports on them

Kenya has its problems and the biggest one being corruption at all levels of government from the president down to the most subordinate agent. But it is still a much better country to live in terms of religious freedom than Ethiopia. Ethiopia's constitution grants all kinds of freedoms to muslims and that is good and dandy but the problem is with local authorities who have made it their duty to infringe upon those rights on daily bases.

Its the same with kenya if NFD wish to break away from kenya it won't be allowed somalis in the govt of Ethiopia are puppets the same as in kenya Unless you believe its better to be kenyan then Ethiopian
