Oklahoma may have accidentally outlawed the 10 Commandments

Postby Advo » Sat Nov 06, 2010 8:25 am

I vote Oklahoma to be the dumbest state ever. In their attempt to pass a bill outlawing a non-existing shariah law in their state, they may have accidentally outlawed the 10 Commandments. Unintentional consequence

That article doesn't really make much sense to me. First of all, I didn't think the 10 commandments were set of laws that were upheld by the American judiciary...not that I know much about American legal systems or politics or anything...I just have never heard of anyone getting arrested for taking the Lord's name in vain.

What seems more interesting is the suggestion that they banned the use of all international law. I didn't think they cared much for upholding international law, but surely they can't ban it. I guess using the words not recognising those laws makes more sense than using the word 'ban'. In any case, I don't really see the point of banning something that doesn't exist or is not in practice. I guess looking for a ghost can drive some people literally mad.

Eyes this is the thing about American ammendments to the constitution, you can always make one that cancels the previous ammendment. Like When the U.S. banned alcohol they made an ammendment to the constitution to do that, but in a few years later they had to make an ammendment to cancel out the previous ammendment banning alcohol.

So when the need for sharia law is there by the majority of the people, who is to stop them from making it?

The law is usually anti religion anyway. The ten commandment would never have stand or used in court of law.Hellooo ---the separation of God & State? But my question is--muslimkaa---walaahi they have balls. Baaal wadaan gaaloo---they dare seem entitled and demand Shariah law to be considered when hearing cases. I mean--seriously---isnt this a gross presumptious kibirness??? :o

They just don't understand their own constitutional system

I bet only a handful could ever define what the definition of and meaning of:

Democracy
Socialism
Communism

Yet they believe Obama is a fascist president, on the verge of becoming the next hitler

No one was demanding Sharia Law in Oklahoma not one person of the some 30k muslims. What part of pre-emptive don't you understand?

:o My Bad PO-----Perhaps, i did not make myself clear. What i should have said is--Currenlty there is a law suit filed in which Muslims are contesting the banning of the shariah law being considered in hearing cases--in massichusetts. The law amendment was voted on last Tuesday. If you read the below link--you would see what i mean. And therefore, my question was---the nerves of these muslims to dare think it is in their place to contest and file a law suit? This land is a christian land, is it not?I mean, i know--as an american---i understand the concept of their right to sue--but my point is--it is ballsy and waste of time. This money used to filling fruitless expensive lawsuits could be used to help poor muslim countries. If you google this law suit--u will see a face of an arab leading the press conference. And thats my point of contestion. These arabs are just a little bit kuku walaahi.

Arabs think Islam is like a culture or a tribe. They have no compassion, they are unislamic in their actions and behavior, i mean--heck these white christians are more compassion than them. While arabs are deporting somalis---(fellow muslims)--white christians are sending somalis to america for a better life. Ya see my point macaaan? :| \

Basra, does that mean sharia law was previously implemented/considered in their courts?

Still tho, basra thank god you weren't there in the civil rights, you'd probably be writing letters to MLK telling him this is a white country and if you want equal rights go back to africa, you'd probably sign as KKK too just for the hell of it
