funny thing about the christian population in bilad al sham..

Most people do not know that 500 years after the fatx of islam..by the time of the crusades Syria/Palestine/Lebanon and Jordan were 3/4 75% christian still.

less than 200 years it droped to less than half, how??

The stupid crusaders destroyed the eastern orthodox chuches and massacered allot of the clergy, becuase they were heretics..
The christian population ran away as refugees and lived with thier muslim nieghbours..

With a weakened church structure most of them converted to islam very quickly....
