The Chance's of Fruit's Growing in the North? There is no single Major river and to Grow Fruit's you need a very Humid and Tropic environment which can not be found in the North. The best you can do is Grow some Sour Water Melon's which arent even Red.

That just shows how little you know about back home, as a matter of fact you can grow lemons, oranges, watermelons, papaya and even bananas and the most common sweetcorn.

Cumar, there are tens if not hundreds of thousands of ready farmlands in the south compared to a few hundred total north of Hiiraan. Small-scale farming exists in the north, no doubt, but nothing industrial except the new date palm plantations in Bari.

I'm not making any comparisons I was just refuting his ridiculous claims that you cannot grow fruit & veg in the north.
Besides if arabs can grow stuff in the desert then what's stopping me, also the only major fruit I know which is still imported in from the south is bananas whereas the rest of the fruit are grown in places like wajaale, gabiley and surrounding areas.

In the rainy season you can grow fruits in the central regions. These bananas were grown in Cabudwaaq.
