Paid
It can work but Arab's have Billion and Billion's of Dollar's which Somali's don't. Plus Arab's did it because they had no other option while a Somali in Mogadishu, Bosasso and Hargeisa pay the same amount of Money for the Mango even though it came from Kismaayo. I once saw the price for Broccli and Mangoes in Dubai and each was 20$
I'm not talking about the modern Arab countries, the Omanis had an irrigation system hundreds of years ago that supported entire cities and farming grids. They used aquifers that stored water underground after rainy season subsided, this helped them sustain farms during winter seasons. Somalia must have many generations of water underground, never even tapped before.
Hey Monk so are you actually planning to go on the ground while Al shabab is there?
Their administration is the only reason I'm going back. If they leave, who is going to protect my property? My only chance is if they stay. I plan to visit after another 2 years of course work, hopefully they will still be around.
