Because it is Somalia and not the west. We don't have the same laws and the people are not the same. Trying to apply the same rules everywhere is why there are wars in the world. There is a demand for churches in the West because there are significant muslim populations but there is no significant christian population in Somalia. Besides the Somali identity is tied to Islam to the point where everything else like Christianity and churches are alien. The people there just won't accept churches in their cities and towns.

I do agree with you there should be atleast one church in the major somali cities because come on we cant deny the existence of somali gaalo. Islam doesnt speak about execution for apostates. Only hadith speaks about execution for apostates who are an danger to the state by working with the enemies or forcing ppl to leave islam.
But if the apostate keeps his christianity or judaism to himself then no problem.

Udun, WFP as a UN organization can not engage in religious propagation. If there documented evidence of such acts, it should be reported.

There are groups like World Vision who do it, and operate in many countries.
