And why is she not Somali? 75% is african blood, witch means is dominant. You are just expressing hate when you clearly tell her not to view herself as Somali.
Its not about blood. Its about identity. The Somali nation identifies itself through a complex patriarchal tribal system. If you are not paternally Somali, it doesnt matter how much Somali "blood" is in you, regardless of % and ratios  , you are not a Somali by identity.

Waa waalan tahey. I identify myself through my culture which is Somali culture and language. Adiga waligaa riyo ma maashey? that is my culture which is nomadic culture.

I no wonder why there are Midgo iyo gabooye etc because it starts like this: Ruralman iyo Grandpakhalif baa shirayaan oo waxey isku leeyihiin '' war waa tuma'
'maanaa garan malaha waa jir cad'. Haddaa aan u bixino 'jir cad waxna yaanan ku darsin' = midgaan :|

CLan talk again? Nacas baad tahay. She speaks Somali and identifies herself with Somalis and yet you say clan talk is needed? Cudur baad tahay wallahi. stop posting before you embarass yourself
The clan system is the foundation of what it is to be a Somali. Over 100 years ago, the address of somebody, their whereabouts, their marriages, their issues would have been resolved through cthe clan. Am I embarassing myself for saying that the clan system is an integral part of Somali identity? You seem quite perplexed, maybe its because you've had a bad experience with discrimination. My friend, the horizon is wider than looking back only to 1991. If you read Somali history, we were never a unified nation but tribal kingdoms, clan fiefdoms and patriarchal dictatorships. That, my friend, is Somali clan history.

Hit the books Joe.
Ah i understand, you have not found a time travel machien yet to take you out of the 17 century

Then at least you admit that Im correct from a historical point of view. Ill take that as a concession from yourself.

The clan system didnt change in the 17th century and its still the same in 2010. Identity of a Somali will always be the same, through the clan.

In regards to the Gabooye, it is just a form of discrimination against a few clans simply because of ignorance and fear stemming from the other Somalis. However, the Gabooye are native whilst "jir cad" or "carab" are not.

Dont worry Walaashis there is no fight here.

Oh yes you are absolutely right Somalai used to be like that. Well at the same time black were lynched and discriminated in many parts of the west and asia. Maybe you didnt like those times when it is you when is on the other side the end of the rope? You are happy about democracy and how your rights are protected as a miniority that is different from the general public.

But at the same time you want to advocate the opposite to a somali-arab? Oh the irony

Not only were you completely unable to refute the truth but instead you chose to completely change the subject into something off topic. May I ask of what relevance is that to the discussion tonight sir? We can talk about the civil rights movements during black history month however this thread is about Somali identity. Democracy and my rights are a different topic altogether which probably requires a new thread. However this thread is about Somali identity my friend. Dont go off the rails.
