Hello everyone allow me to introduce myself, my name is well not technically but preferably ladyyonelove. I am new here so this is my first time posting. It is going to take me sometime to get use to this cite so bear with me please. Anywho my topic is about somali brothers and sisters today here in America.
First and formost I was raised in the ghetteo for some time in my life so I am use to brothers who act like gangsters and sisters who act like (excuse my french) hoes. Now before we are american we are somalians before we are somalians we are MUSLIMS! therefor we should act accordingly to the way of the prophet S.A.W and his people. I dont understand why we must indulge ourselves in this dunya when all we get out of it is nothing more than jahanam. &&& for those of you skeptical I am 20 years old and i reside in the state mostly renowned as the killer state aka Minnesota ofcourse! lol but seriously though i have been to other places throughout my lifetime and each place i go its the same old same what ever happened to the woman keeping their dignity and pride and showing their modesty? What happened to muslim brothers participating and being an active leader in the masjiid? I just dont understand wallahi. Anywho I will not continue bragging about this much longer but i am interested in hearing what you all (somalinetters) think and to hear different perspectives.
