Residents in Bur-Hakabo district of Bay region are fleeing from the city feeling war threat between Islamist militias of Al-shabab and Hisbul Islam, reports said.
Both militias of militias fought yesterday in the city of Bur-hakabo and Hisbul-Islam had the upper hand in the morning from Al-shabab while the in the afternoon shift Al-shabab recaptured the city back.
At least 5 people are reported to have been killed and 12 others injured in the battle between those militias and the most casualties faced the innocent people lived in Burhakabo, sources said.
The traffic and business affected the war yesterday and people started to escape from war although the situation is calm this morning, but people feel war threat,
“Al-shabab forces are in the side town and Hisbul-Islam militias are not far from the city and possibly may get war again and that’s the reason why people are running,” an old woman said.
No one will expect how the situation will remain and whose control would finally function as thought Al-shabab controls most of central and south Somalia.
