Dhusamareb Government refused by elders in Galgaduud

Postby ibrahimcw » Mon Dec 13, 2010 6:34 pm

Ahlu sunna wal jamaaca segments and people from Dhusamareb region rejected the proposal of a Dhusamareb region state put forward by Cayr. for those who dont know Dhusamareb it is the capital city of Galgaduud province and used to be the largest and most important town in the region up until the civil war, since 1990 the town has faced many clashes and ongoing civil unrest with economic stagnation and Caabudwaaq took over as the largest and most significant town in Galgalgaduud.

today Alshabab incursion has been serverly weakened and decreased to hit and run tactics, as a result tribal unity in region is reducing and already Ahlu sunna wal jamaaca is starting to fall apart into Marehan and Cayr.

if this continues Marehan military base south of Guriceel will move back north towards bohol savanah and prepare war against Cayr, vacating the front which has kept Alshabab at bay and propably leading to Alshabab invasion.

Marehan should take out Cayr before pacification, they create too much problems in the regions in places like Dhusamareb and Cadaado

dhusamareb has probably more historical significance than whole puntland, it is the town of my forefathers  the late Nabadoon of Rer Dalal Gurxan Muse Cawl held Dhusamareb in 1920

Says a 20 year old boy in Minnesota. Go and see why Ahlu Sunnah made its headquarters in Caabudwaaq.

Also I agree with Grandpa. Stop the qabiil kala qoqobaysi. Cayr and MX are united against Shabaab.

Voltage, you're the guy who thinks that Siad Barre air lifted the entire population of Kismayo in the 1970s, you are in no position to dismiss anyone's claims. Dhusomareeb is more important than Cabudwaaq, only this Ahlu-Sunnah thing gave Cabudwaaq some attention, and the only reason they made it the headquarters is because its right next to Ethiopia and has no roads leading into it while Dhusomareeb is on the main highway and openly accessible by anyone. They picked Dhusomareeb because of its isolated location, it has nothing to do with economic, social or political factors, we all know that Ahlu Sunnah values Guriceel and Dhusomareeb more.

im not deviding anything that is not already devided, a Rer Gedo and a Rer Garowe who knows little to nothing about the central region can over estimate Hawiyo, and rightfully so because it was Hawiyo who invaded Gedo and it was Hawiyo who invaded Gaalkacyo the main city for MJ.

back to topic.

Caabudwaaq has yet to speak against this but since the Marehan in Dhusamareb are already against it i expect Caabudwaaq will soon make a statement.

Cayr has very little support in the region and can be crushed if need be, Marehan only lets Ceyr live because Marehan are pro nationalism and are not trying to create a homogeneous federal state like Somaliland or Puntland.

Cayr are acting up because Ahlu Sunna in Caabudwaaq refused the invasion of Cadaado, and now they are angry and want to run with Dhusamareb constituency.
