Hisbul-Islam militias detain some of its officials

Postby Coeus » Tue Dec 14, 2010 1:25 pm

Islamist militias of Hisbul Islam have arrested some of its representative in lower Shabelle after they have been suspected to have ties with Al-shabab militias, reports said.

The detained officials of Hisbul Islam militias include district commissioner of Afgoi, A/Karin Muse Omar, head of the security, Mohamed Hassan Omar and head of information, Sh. Ali Sh. Omar of that district.

Reports indicate that some of these heads were released as district commissioner; A/Karin Muse Omar as sources close to the Hisbul Islam say there is doubt inside their militias about the possibility to join Al-shabab.

On the other hand, militias of Hisbul Islam with drew from Bur-hakaba of Bay region and villages of lower Shabelle those are close to Bay region after a heavy fighting between them and Al-shabab occurred a day before in which they were defeated.

Hisbul Islam militias are confined in lower Shabelle region and a few areas in the capital Mogadishu and no one knows the future of Hisbul Islam whether they will join to Shabab or not, but good chance for Somali federal government if one of its oppositions is deeming.
