Fighters loyal to Harakat Al shabaab have cut off the hand of Somali young boy after charging him with theft, an al shabaab official said on Tuesday.
The incident took place in Diinsoor district in Bay region of southern Somalia.
Hundreds of local residents were invited to watch the teenager's hand have chopped off.
Sheikh Mohammed Adow, An Al shabaab judge in the district said this man has confessed of being guilty of stealing money and other materials.
It is not the first time, Al shabaab to cut off limbs of people accusing of theft.
