forces of Somali Transitional Federal Government in Ex-control Afgoe junction told the media that they have held military truck carrying weapon to the Islamist insurgents in the outskirts of the capital Mogadishu, officer said.

The government soldiers have seized very big military vehicle at the first checkpoint (Exit and Entrance) of the capital Mogadishu yesterday afternoon, government officer named Ahmed Yare said.



Weapons include AK47 guns, ammunitions of artillery weapons and explosive elements, Ahmed Yare said adding that three were men with the truck who are captured including a government soldier and were all arrested saying that they will investigate the case.



This is not the first time that government soldiers hold military supports going to the Islamist malitias of Al-shabab and Hisbul Islam, but this always is involved by government authorities, reports said.

Great work by the TFG by the way.

It is clear there are some people within the goverment that is supplying Al shabab. These people must be found immidietly and the weapons must be stored at a good facility. Where so many people dont have acces.

War, even when the TFG gets it right, they get it wrong.

Those weapons were heading to Xisbul Islam who's getting ready to fight Shabaab. It was meant to reinforce them and what not. It woulda been better for the TFG if Xisbul Islam got the weapons

For the first time the useless tfg done something good. Let xisbul thagut solve their own problems which backfired at them. Their own children are rebelling!
