highly probable

I was mostly focusing on their cultural practices rather than genetics

just like ALL HUMAN BEINGS there is a good chance they are mixed with the people who live around them......just like the Somali, Rendille, Oromo, etc.

so its probably hard to determine what the ORIGINAL CUSHTIC STOCK looked like
Why is it hard to determine? They still live today and are all over the place. Somalis and Eastern Oromos are the most Cushitic people.

Maybe they're your ancestors but certainly not mine.
  I am sure they are her ancestors as she is from Jowhar.

I was just joking about the Jowhar thing but I am anticipating Dr. Yalaxoow's arrival to associate any bantu group with the Somalis and go off on any arabs if anyone mentioned them.

These people look nothing like Somalis. There is a tribe in Kenya that looks more like Somalis than these people they are called Rendille:

Rendille people believe they and the Somalis are the same people. They welcome and respect the Somalis who live among them.

Sorry Arab-wannabes but here is who you truly descendant from.

Lake Turkana in Southern Ethiopia is the birthplace of all Cushtic speaking populations.

Here is the Dassanech Tribe. Unlike most of their neighbors who speak either Nilotic languages or other Afro-Asiatic tongues, they are CUSHTIC SPEAKERS. If you wanna see how our ancestors used to live before coming into contact with the Arabs or Europeans here is the perfect analog. The tribes of the Omo Valley are largely living the same way they have for the last thousand years.

The video is amazing. They are pastoral nomads. They wear macwisses and eat caancello. Their facial structure is also similar to most Somalis. And their body structure is also almost indistinguishable from the Somali. Pretty much if you take out all the polluted genes from the Arabs and other outsiders, Somalis would look exactly the same.

Bogus claims have been spread here. What are your proofs? You are sharing a simple youtube and want us to believe this fiction. :P
language
culture
facial and skeletal morphology

plus anyways all the linguists point the origin of the Cushtic languages to Southern Ethiopia because it has the most diversity.
There is no proof that the Cushitic people came from Southern Ethiopia. The location that people live today is not a good reflection of where they originate. If you go to Chad today, you will find certain clans of Somali Gare living there and was there generations. Hawsa speaking communities in the West Africa are also another example. Bring sources and your research and not he said /she said.

Fyi, Cushitic people are scattered on all of Africa.

I have not read the topic. Just want to be on record that I Niya of Somalinet reject the notion that I have anything to do with Arab ancestory. I am not Arab, do not consider myself of Arab ancestry and wish to have nothing to do with them ever.

and wish to have nothing to do with them ever.
You wish to have nothing to do ever with the prophet (salalaahu calayhi wa salam), Sahaba and other notable Muslims of Arab origin?
