walaashis,arent u warsangali horto? :?

From now on I am warsangeli. I used to hear from my mother when I was younger 'Warsengali wax noolba cunyoo awrkii cirkuu cunayee'
Warsangeli isn't a social club for the reading comprehension challenged.

[

How a mother can have the name of her husband
These clans exist ,aren't you the same person who wrote that Dashishle is a dish

What are you going on about ? Darod existed around the same time that Isxaaq did ,NOt a sub-sub-sub-sub clan of Darod :?

What do you mean by "How a mother can have the name of her husband " - I wrote that Habar Majerteen was called after her father (Issa- Horoone clan) NOT her Husband who was called Harti. :?

War Ba'a [/quote]

:) do not worry I am learning. Never heard any of these names and I am not convinced that they are clans :|

I will get that book too and read it :ugeek:

Let me see if I understood this correctly: Mejeerteen's mother was called 'habar majeerteen', right?
majeereteen had other brothers of the same mother, right?

The father is Harti, right?

so you are saying that she was named after one of her children, right? so my interpretation comes as 'the slave of Majerten'- Habar majeerteen.

It is kind of old Arabic tradition particularly when the mother was a slave

This is very kind of you :| sure.

Only if I had interested in clans as you are  I would have understood your fictional legends. That is not my kind of things, darling.

Nope

I suggest you double -check. Dhulbahante ,Liibangashe ,Kaskiqabbe , Tiinle ,Kaptanle ,Maganlabe, Miir waaqhinjile, Gasiguule. : they all share the same mother - she was Isaaq.
Whereas Dashishle,Majerteen and Warsangeli's mother was Issa and was called "Majerteen" after her father..

Ask anyone in the Puntland section.. :?

:o

sounds to me quite fictional names  than real clan names, also I find the story of a clan has its mother as another clan. I mean the how did they have an Isaaq mother when they are supposedly exist at the sametime as Isaaq clan?

 What the hell do you smoke? How the fck is that posssible? Isaaq arrived 300-400 years after Dooros first supposedly appeared. We're the youngest clan, the new kids on the block. Wuxuu nooga sheekeynayo bel eega.

^ No'one in their right mind would assume a mother was named after a child she gave birth to. If anything , her child would bear her nickname as a way of honouring and preserving her legacy, hence the nick "Habar Majerteen " and "Majerteen".

I'm convinced you're just trolling ,Walaashiis.I refuse to believe anyone is that thick :?

Sheikh Isxaaq came way after Darood, they are probably equal to Majeerteen in age.

So? That still doesn't mean that the Mother of Dhulbahante wasn't Isaaq.

Not really. If majeerteen is darod, then Isaaq came way after majeerteen too. Unless your saying dabayacos ain't dooro :? ? Sheikh Isaaq came in the 16th century Darod supposedly came in the 12th or 13th century. How is it possible to have an Isaaq mother if you've lived 300-400 years before Isaaq even existed?

abdi.ismail. Actually Sheikh Isaxaaq arrived around in the - 13th century. The Habar Magaadi ( Garhajis, Habar awal) were already in the Ahmed guray jihaad against the habashi highlanders in the 15th century, noted in the book futah al habash the conquest of abyssinia.

I don't think MJ or Ogaden was mentioned walaal, only Habar Magaadle, Geri Koombe and Marehan

we only take Futuh Al habash as our source.
