We are all guilt of clanism in one way or another, but most of us love Islam and would die for it.

But Islam does not allow the way we use clan? do you feel justified hating other clans or if not hatred just being suspious of them?

and let ma ask you an irrelavent question: why do most people here quick to mention that they are under 23?

45 is not that old btw

Are you 45?
About clan, i might joke about it but never use it to insult people. I think that religion and qabil and politics should not mix. If you want to practice your diin maskidka adaan and if you love your qabiil baranbur uqaad.

Hello sister.I like 'buraanbur u qaad'

KingMJ,

My sister is OK now so I am not selling her anymore. I just do not like her when she is moody. I am farhaanad (do you know that word? happy person),so cannot stand moodiness. But now I am pushing her around

I asked this question in the middle of a bus full of Somalis after a taraweeh prayer. It was in 2006. I just cannot believe that we are such religious people ( me not that good at the moment), yet out home ( Somalia or all those Lands of Somalia) is in flames. Is it really possible that you can hope the mercy of God while your are full of shit ( excuse my language).

So my question again: how do you reconcile these two: religion and hatred (clan mentality).

You cant reconsile clan mentality with religion, a religous person would not dare to talk about qabil unless they want to find about long distant relative whereabouts. Qabil was re-introduced by the northerners during the late 80's.

I wasnt talking about SNM. I was talking about average somali person living in diverse city like Xamar the isaaq poisioned them with qabil. P.s SNM was created before late 80's.
