Not my kind of place. It has mosquitoes the size of a basketball. Any Somali government that is formed should prevent the unarmed people who live there and farm there from being displaced by moryaans who claim the ownership of the town.

Jowhar has always enjoyed some sort of peace. Jareer ,Xawaadle , Abgaal and etc have lived side by side.

I think all Somali families should marry into Bantu families, these guys live in the best places; Hiiraan, Shabellada, Jubboyinka. Skinnies always go to dry ass places with their camels, these guys always find lush places to settle down and do their thing - you will never find a skinny Bantu in Somalia, they all eat good off those huge farms.

I'm so glad I came from these types of places instead of hellish places like Mudug or Togdheer, I love my Bantu people.

Actually it is badicadde not xawaadle,Few xawaadles live there.The Majority of Inhabitants are abgaal(harti abgaal) especifically),followed by jareer and other numerous mududlood subclans.gaaljecel xataa magaalada meel yar ayuu ka dagan yahay.

There is a reason why that is the case. Camels can't survive in places like that Somalis love their camels and the lazy lifestyle camel herding affords them. Besides too many diseases from insects in the jungles that would probably wipe out the ethnic Somalis if they attempted to live there. Living in the jungle is not fit for lazy people.

Addow, it is majority Somali bantu. It is just that a large percent of the bantu population in Jowhar also claim to be Abgaal.
