Galmudug administration that controls some parts of Gal-gudud and Mudug regions have warned Islamist militias of Al-shabab not to seize H/dhere district of Mudug region after the destroyed Islamist militias left there, officials said.
H/dhere district was under control of Hisbul-Islam militias that joined Al-shabab militias early this week and there was the possibility that Al-shabab forces may reach and conquer there.
Deputy information minister of Galmudug administration, Ahmed Basto told they would never accept Shabab’s enlargement and their coming to H/dhere district, saying that they will fihgt with Al-shabab.
“We only endorse if the inhabitants would have local administration, but Shabab will never bring them something better”, The Deputy Information minister of of Galmudug administration, Ahmed Basto said.
Reports from Haradhere indicate that there is no administration controlling this morning after the collapsed group vacated there.
