Postby Coeus » Mon Dec 27, 2010 9:11 am

Kenya has deployed more of its military forces its border with war-ravaged Somalia as Christians around the world are getting ready to celebrate Christmas, witnesses said on Saturday.

This step comes days after bomb explosion targeted Kampala bound in Kenyan capital Nairobi that killed at three and hurt 26 others.

"Kenya military movements had an influence on businesses and transportations." Mohamoud Mohammed, a resident at Mendhere district in Kenya told Shabelle, a local radio station based in Mogadishu.

Mohammed added that a lot of people, who displaced from Mogadishu, have recently reached at the district in an attempt to get a better life than they had in Somalia.

In the last few days, Kenya government has started security measures to assure it s international tranquility as Uganda warned new terrorist attacks from Somalia's Al shabaab.

Two months from now, Sheikh Fu'ad Mohammed Khalf and Sheikh Ali Mohammed Hussein, Al shabaab hohg ranking officials, have threatened to attack Kampala and Bujumbura in retaliation on what they described as mass killing AMSOM forces committed against innocent civilians in Mogadishu.
