Why not? If you cause a chain reaction, and the reaction continues after your death, you aren't responsible for it?How can you blame the regime for anything after it’s removal. From 1991 and onwards, you cannot blame the government
True.and those that had served the brutal colonialists became its leaders and run its parliament.
NOWhy not? If you cause a chain reaction, and the reaction continues after your death, you aren't responsible for it?

Why do you exclusively blame AY? AY did just what Siyaad did; attempt coup d'etat. It isn't like Siyaad come to power democratically. And Siyaad's government was clan based, just as it would have been any other whose coup d'etat succeeded. So, what's your beef with AY? And are you insinuating AY gave the idea of insurrection to the SNM, USC and future armed opposition?NO
What chain reaction? If anything, the chain a reaction was started by AY when he created his clan based movement, which started the whole debacle.
The armed groups reached their goal and removed Siad Barre, if was up to them and their OWN accord to reach a treaty and created functional government in which they personally and completely failed. Those who blame Siad Barre for the civil war are exactly like those African Americans who blame slavery for their current predicament. It's take to accept the fact of your own personal failings and deal with them, the blame game needs to be stopped

I agreeSimply all Somalis are responsible.
