somalis have never been under one governing body until it was forced upon us by the colonial powers. if you take a bunch of animals that have never lived together and force them into a cage, one shouldn't surprised if they kill each other. that's why a central government will never work in somalia.

first of all, the "somalia" project failed because it was doomed to fail. like i said before somalis have never been under one governing body before so forcing it on us was a big mistake. the fact that language and religion could not unite us is enough evidence of that. clearly somalis have different interests, cultural practices, outlooks on life etc. some people on here think these are just minor difference but why are we still fighting then?right on.

You could be right. The educated, the experienced, the intellectual, etc-- instead of manning up and fixing the problems, they fled.Somali diaspora!!
