the 1st time i saw rachel maddow I thought she was a man with some strange womanlike voice. I had to google her that morning. She is a great journalist by the way.

Actually Rachael Maddow has a lot of personality. Even though it is that quirky, nerdy, overly educated arrogant kind of personality she really does have a very strong personality. I always laugh at her and Keith Olbermann when they make jokes but not at their jokes instead at the kind of people who would find it hilarious--mostly the nerdy kids I remember back in elementary school and middle school with braces who seemed overly mature, teacher's pet nerds. People ironically I was versatile enough to be very good friends with and still am. Lakin Basra you are right Christian Amanpour doesn't have a personality and for good reason--she is a journalist instead of a comentator like Maddow and shouldn't project anything other than a medium that separates facts from everything else. As for this topic, James is right..Katie couric is neither a journalist nor a commentator, I really don't know what she is but she seems more like in the same category as Meredith Viera.

Voltage... Why am i NOT surprised u like Racheal Maddow??? U guys can have a nice tom boy geeky dinner together. I dont get the sense that she is very educated, although she is very educated in actuality. I dont know, her speech and manner of talking bespeaks average, yet her crudentials are of stanford university and even a doctorate in philosophy at oxford. Impressive, i say.


However, to me she doesnt impress me. She sounds very typical, average male like mentality, who does not even have an ounce of female characteristics, and that is what bothers me i guess.I am sure she is very knowledgeable in what he comments about, she took policies studies in Stanford. I am sure she speaks only substance and that i the problem. There is sense of personality, no sense of style except her suits, and my occasional urge for her to grab her imaginery balls. Christine amanpour is worst than maddow i admit, but still they both rank in the anti personality camp.


Katie is cool,has a personality, engages with her guests on a human none geeky way, a little interractions goes a long way. I guess, thats why she gets the big paycheck more than the so called stanford and oxford lesbian graduate.
