Racism amongst Muslims is shocking!!
Heck even Asians discriminate one another based on skin tone. A Pakistan sister I used to go to uni with *who was MaashaaAllah inside & out* would get turned down by the parents of potentials *& the men themselves* based on her skin tone SMH!!

But from what I've seen its black females who are usually discriminated the most..

Btw is Iqra TV the same as 'Iqra' channel.. :|
No its not. There is a lot of ignorance in the Muslim world.

Its ignorance for the most part maybe yeah.. But you still come across alot of educated Muslims *deen wise* who still show signs of racism!!

KD - Her skin colour was like a mariin Somali person..
Black pakistanis? whaaaaaaat?

I doubt its overt racism, I think its more colourism.
And to be fair, nearly all ethnic people are colourist especially somalis. Across all non white nations there is a preference for a lighter complexion. The perception of beauty is based on this.

And to be honest, ive noticed when I see dark skinned somali nbabies I normally dont consider them as cute. However as soon as I see a light skinned somali baby, I automatically *without even thinking* say aww he/she is cute. :|

Nobleman I was thinking about this issue just minutes before I clicked on this topic. Even though Islam is against racism, there are alot of racist muslims even so called religious people are not immune from it. With that topic I was also shocked by the amount of baboon, monkey, jareer references, almost seemed like I was in a neo nazi white supremacist website and we are BLACK ourselves lmao. I was initially shocked by the guy wearing an ear pierce during the wedding ceremony but other than that who am I to object? Anywho just as we Somalis look down on "bantus", the rest of the world look down on us the same exact way. Arabs have major inferior complexes when it comes to whites and I each time I meet one, they prove me right. Another thing I deal with is non-muslim africans always seeing Islam as a pro Arab tool to advance their agenda because of racism they faced, so it's a big issues that needs to be dealt with.

I agree 100% bro. Somalis generally are very close minded, but are first to use the race card. One somali guy would probably refer to a black guy as bantu, dhaqax etc and then cry racism when his boss tells him to clean the toilets or something lol.

A lot of apostates cite the reason they leave Islam is because they see it as an Arab mans religion, istaqfruallah.

Def a big issue that needs to be dealt with.
