The newly coalesced Shabelle valley administration on Friday threatened that they will take over Hiran of central Somalia where Al shabaab tightly controls.
Speaking to Shabelle Media Network, the chairman of Shabelle Valley administration, Abdifitah Hasan Afrah said the administration collected more soldiers who he said they are ready take on Al shabaab fighters in the region.
Mr. Afrah pointed out the plans of taking over Hiran region of central Somalia have already been contemplated and ready to put into practice.
The chairman of Shabelle Valley administration, Abdifitah Hasan Afrah has denied the existence of military forces from the transitional federal government of Somalia in Hiran.
"The forces operating in Hiran are from the administration Shabelle Valley not from Somali government" Mr. Afrah was quoted by Shabelle as saying.
